HITN announced that its new original series, El elevador de Albie, co-produced with WHYY, will premiere on Edye, HITN’s premium content platform for preschoolers in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.
El elevador de Albie introduces young viewers to art, emotions and creativity through the perspective of Albie, a seven-year-old girl. The series incorporates visual, performing and literary arts, encouraging children to create, reflect and engage with their surroundings. Its curriculum is based on guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the PBS Kids Arts Learning Framework.
“At Edye, we believe in the role of art and emotions in early development,” said Erika Vogt-Lowell, Vice President of Content and Strategy at HITN. “El elevador de Albie supports our goal of offering programming that helps children explore their world with imagination and empathy.”
Caitlin Corkery, producer of the series for WHYY (PBS Philadelphia), said the aim was to create a space where children can express and understand their emotions through art and imagination.
The premiere of El elevador de Albie strengthens Edye’s commitment to delivering educational content for preschool audiences across the region.
