HITN proudly joined this year’s National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, taking part in one of the country’s most vibrant celebrations of Puerto Rican culture, history, and community.

Led by CEO Michael D. Nieves, the HITN delegation included employees from across the organization, including the Government and Community Affairs team. Marching along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue with thousands of participants, the group celebrated the traditions and enduring contributions of Puerto Ricans in New York and across the United States.

The annual parade once again filled the city’s streets with colorful floats, live music, traditional dance, and a joyful display of Puerto Rican pride. Drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators each year, the event serves as a powerful reminder of the island’s rich cultural heritage and the strength of its diaspora.

Beyond the festivities, the National Puerto Rican Day Parade organization continues its year-round commitment to supporting education, arts, and cultural initiatives through community programs and scholarships that benefit Puerto Rican students and families.
