HITN has donated 16 iPads to Catholic Charities Neighborhood Services (CCNS) to support workforce development efforts through the Cabrini Moving Forward program, which serves families across Brooklyn and Queens.

The devices were delivered to the agency’s Family Stabilization Services program and will be used to help participants set educational goals and complete employment-related requirements.

For many of the immigrant and working-class families served by the program, limited access to technology presents a significant barrier to completing certifications and securing employment. These additional devices will expand program capacity, allowing more participants to complete coursework, obtain certifications, and move forward in the hiring process.

HITN stated that supporting programs focused on education and employment aligns with its mission to serve Hispanic communities in New York City and nationwide.
