Mike Nieves & Marcos Bucio
Before arriving in New York, Bucio Mújica served as Consul General in El Paso, Texas, where he worked to protect the rights of migrants, with a special focus on children.
At HITN, he sat down with the network’s President and CEO, Michael D. Nieves, for a wide-ranging conversation about how both institutions can work together to support Hispanic communities in New York. Topics on the table included education, health, and culture.
Joining the meeting were HITN Media Vice President Guillermo Sierra and María Fernanda Garrido Martín, head of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Mexican Consulate. The group discussed ways to build partnerships that could benefit Mexican and Hispanic families across the tri-state area.
