HITN is recognizing Women’s History Month by highlighting the contributions of women across the organization and their role in advancing its mission to serve Hispanic communities through education, digital media, and technology.
This year’s national theme, Women Leading the Change, focuses on the ways women contribute to progress in fields such as education, media, technology, and public service.
At HITN, women play key roles in shaping programs and initiatives designed to expand educational opportunities and strengthen community engagement. For our organization, their perspectives and leadership help ensure that its work reflects the experiences and needs of the communities it serves.
As part of the observance, HITN is honoring Maryann Marrapodi, the organization’s Chief Learning Officer. Marrapodi has more than 30 years of experience in education, multimedia learning, and product development. Throughout her career, she has worked on the development of learning tools and programs aimed at supporting children, families, and educators. Her professional background includes leadership roles in education, nonprofit organizations, and educational technology. At HITN, she oversees initiatives focused on expanding access to educational content and digital learning resources for Hispanic communities. Marrapodi’s work reflects the organization’s broader commitment to using media and technology to support learning and community development.
For HITN Women’s History Month provides an opportunity to recognize the women whose work contributes to its mission and to the communities it serves.
