Every year on January 6th, New York’s vibrant Hispanic community comes together to celebrate the Epiphany with the cherished tradition of the Three Wise Men visitation.

HITN continued its annual tradition of ushering in the new year with a lively Three Kings Day Fiesta. Now a hallmark event, the celebration brings together families, friends, community leaders, and elected officials at HITN’s studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

“HITN takes immense pride in celebrating Three Kings Day, a tradition that holds a special place in our hearts and in the hearts of the communities we serve,” said Michael D. Nieves, President and CEO of HITN. “This celebration is our way of welcoming everyone into our home—our workspace—where we work every day to create programming that educates, entertains, and inspires.”

This year’s Three Kings Day festivities at HITN warmly welcomed employees, their families, and special guests, including former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, NY Representative Nydia Velazquez, and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado among others.

The event catered to all ages, with a special focus on children. Young attendees had the chance to meet Ray, the mascot from Edye—HITN’s platform for early learners. The day also featured face painting, an e-gaming zone, and gift bags for every child, ensuring they left with lasting memories.

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar, who, for the first time, visited directly from the Three Wise Men Festival in Vieques. The volunteers portraying the Three Kings were prominent Puerto Rican lawyers & professionals who generously have donated their time, year after year, to keep this cherished tradition alive.

Adults enjoyed a dynamic program that included a 360 video camera, live music performances, and a dinner menu featuring Puerto Rican favorites such as arroz con gandules, pernil, and the holiday staple, Coquito.

This year’s celebration marked a record turnout, reflecting the growing bond between HITN and the Hispanic community. The 2025 Three Kings Fiesta once again highlighted HITN’s commitment to fostering connection, culture, and joy for everyone.
