New York, NY (November 23, 2010) – El Diario, the leading Spanish-language daily newspaper in New
York, announced a partnership with The Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, Inc.
(HITN) to exchange television, print, online and mobile content that will enhance the multimedia
experience for their respective Hispanic audiences.
The partnership will create content exchange between El Diario’s print, online and mobile
platforms to HITN’s television and online platforms. In addition, the partners are working
together to create new multimedia content channels for both sites. In an initiative to cross
promote across all platforms, El Diario will feature HITN’s education and entertainment content
across a variety of video and multimedia enhanced platforms. Content features will range from
health and lifestyle, education, culture, entertainment and politics. HITN’s website, hitn.tv, in
turn will also have access to El Diario’s quality local content across its print, online and mobile
platforms, significantly increasing HITN’s Hispanic reach and exposure. Unique content features
across the board include bilingual capabilities and local and community based programs and
initiatives, features that clearly resonate with both El Diario’s and HITN’s Hispanic audiences.
