What resources does HITN provides for the GED preparetion?
HITN's GED-related programming includes the following TV programs.
GED EN ESPAÑOL: This series features 30-minute lessons in the five subject areas of the GED Exam, and helps prepare students for their High School Equivalency Exam. Students practice skills by completing workbook exercises before and after viewing each program.

Certificate awarded.
Upon successfully passing the five sections of the General Educational Development Test, you will receive a Certificate of Educational Competence issued jointly by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Will the GED qualify me for financial aid for college?

GED Testing Centers
There are more than 3,000 different locations in the world where you can take the GED Tests. Local testing centers in the United States and Canada can be located by calling our toll-free hotline at (800) 626-9433 (800-62-MY GED), or by calling your GED contact person .
International testing centers are available to foreign nationals and U.S. citizens abroad at more than 100 locations through a partnership between the GED Testing Service and Prometric , a Baltimore-based corporation.
Military personnel can also take the GED Tests at military installations operating DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support) testing centers. Family members are eligible to take the GED tests only at DANTES centers located overseas. |
